To follow up - the point of the 25th was to have a way to remove the president if they are incapacitated. Think if one fell into a coma but didn't do something illegal.

Reminder about all this talk regarding the 25th Amendment. Invoking it won't do anything.

It requires the VP + a Cabinet majority to declare the pres unfit, the pres can immediately contest it, and then you need 2/3 of BOTH chambers to override him. The way you remove a pres is impeachment.
