In my experience doing updates for yourself feels the best, and when you're ready for something to be seen you make sure you have the right hashtags.

Oh and for anyone who actually finds this, here's how I'm thinking the icon for the switch will end up looking as well. The dim character portraits will be replaces as I make new characters. It will be 8 plus two special unlockable characters for the base game.

I still need to make at least 4 more characters, and even these existing characters ideally still need a victory pose at the very least, possibly a defeated pose as well depending on how I'm going for time. The four pictured here all have unique super moves but that means four more to script aswell.

I made the decision to re-make Nova's attack artwork. Hers was the first one I made and honestly it never felt great for me. Since making Attack art for all the other characters and noticing the trends in how I was putting newer art together, I just had to apply that to the best girl ever. Worth it.

Bought it so fast. Can't wait to play. This won't distract me from making my game, right?

Yeah, the risk here is putting in so much work for a cool unique style then the camera distance renders it null and void. Just gotta keep that in mind. Looks cool though!

I added so much today I lost track. Safe angle bias system, re-did a special move, added sfx to my menus, overhauled the space level with a entierly new mechanic I won't spoil. Made a shader for said mechanic. Fixed my CPU battle randomiser and added some cheeky UI for said scene.
