Only a quarter of the US even uses X. Also, even leaving aside the morality of it, Dems could take a principled stand against CSAM and announce they are leaving the site because of it and that would be a PR win.

My guess has been they’ll let him fire whoever he wants at agencies (except the Fed) and give him his tariffs (they’ll frame it as about exec authority over foreign policy). But, I think they’ll rule against him on all things impoundment. You give him all 3 and there is no need for Congress anymore

America needs to take open models more seriously. Just this summer the early lead in open model adoption of Llama & co has been overtaken by Chinese models.

With The American Truly Open Models (ATOM) Project we're looking to build support and express the urgency of this issue.

Maybe take off the MAGA part? “Murder Budget” may be cleaner. Either way, a great message. Well done and great idea.

How a Canadian scientist and a venomous lizard helped pave the way for Ozempic - National | Globalnews.ca In 1984, Dr. Daniel Drucker, an endocrinologist from the University of Toronto, discovered a hormone that helped pave the way for popular diabetes drugs such as Ozempic.

This is the most relevant article to NIH and research cuts I’ve seen.

Imagine if this was today , how many people would be saying “Why are we studying Gila Monsters and their impact on diabetes ? That’s wasted money !”

Incredibly moving Justin Trudeau remarks:

"We have fought and died alongside you....During your darkest hours...we were always there. Standing with you, grieving with you, the American people....Canadians are a little perplexed as to why our closest friends and neighbors are choosing to target us."
