I feel much better now about trying other authors, and feel ridiculous for taking so long. Clearly there's way more out there for me and I already can't wait to read his Devil Rock book and start picking up more author recommendations.

Nervous that I'd pick a stinker and start telling myself I'm not actually into books, just into Stephen King books. But this past weekend I picked up @paultremblay.bsky.social's Head Full of Ghosts, and whoa... Left me scared to walk around my house in the dark, and absolutely gut-punch of an ending

After basically 20 of not reading a single book, I've spent the last two devouring as much Stephen King as I can. I've read all the ones that interested me, and have now been nervous about finding non-King books to keep this reading going...

I didn't know you were doing these, this was a great read-through because the show is so fast-paced I've forgotten about a lot from the first few episodes. Still waiting for "Hula Hoop" to come into play.

She's got good taste

I've been on the fence for months on this movie, thinking it could be an unhinged delight, or a complete disaster. I've stayed away from reviews, but seeing the type of guy this movie pissed off has sold me that I need to see it right away.

I was about 17 in rural East Texas when I stumbled across Blue Velvet.

It left me afraid and excited for whatever laid in front of me in the real world.

They don't want actual discussion about the candidate and policies, and they don't want us to keep pressure on them to be better. They want a candidate they can deify like the right does to Trump. They want that '08 "Yes we can" feeling again.
