📠*Samples from the majority of 12/24 were not included, due to WEDINOS’s technical issues

We encourage people to get their stuff tested, stick with friends, carry #naloxone, and #StartLowTakeItSlow 💙 #harmreduction

Some disclaimers:
📍The locations were mapped based on the postcode district (e.g. EC1) displayed on WEDINOS results page (i.e., not where someone lives!)
💡Hotspots may not = more nitazenes in circulation — more samples may be submitted where local organisations support testing

This map is a tool intended to provide a digestible visualisation of nitazene detections by location. All data is owned by WEDINOS, and intended as an educational/informational tool only📘

You can zoom in, and click on individual dots to see sample details (see image above)

A screenshot of BRP’s interactive map, zoomed in on the south west of England and Wales. Dots show where nitazenes were detected in 2024 by WEDINOS, and where numbers label a circle shows a cluster of multiple detections nearby. A pop up is shown for one blue (= counterfeit benzo) dot in GL3 which was sold as diazepam, but tested as bromazolam, metonitazene, and ketamine.

🗺️ We have launched an interactive map showing nitazene detections by WEDINOS #drugchecking across all of 2024*

The vast majority of the 144 samples containing a #nitazene were missold, and over half were intended as a #benzo
