Tahoe has had its share of earthquakes. But they usually stay between 3.0 and 4.0. Having one over 5.0 is super odd.

Ya know what... I can almost say with 100% certainty that my forefathers were here WAY before his! I can go back to my relatives who fought in the American Revolution and signed the Constitution (Pinckney's).

If the guy is in a possition of power over the women, like their boss or someone who has a very important job/lots of money... some women can almost feel like its their fault for going along with it and even though they didnt want it to happen they feel like they are the ones who caused it.

Maybe my viewpoint in skewed because I've been in their position. I've been flirty with a boss who just seemed like he was treating me like "one of the boys" only to have it go a bit too far but I was afraid to say anything out of panic that I might get fired or called a slut.

Look how awkward he is holding the bags. Dude is like "where is the staff person who carries things for me??!!"

That's a no for me. I would feel soooo claustrophobic in there.

And I'm tired of seeing other people post about "why did they wait years to come forward?"

Most women who fall into this situation are conditioned to think if they ever told anyone they would get labeled a slut or blamed for what happened (kind of like what folks are doing now).

Many woman are made to think their actions caused the males behavior. So if they come forward they will be blamed and labeled a slut.

This is usually the case when its a younger woman and a man who is her boss.

That's why some dont come forward for years.

Just the fact he cheated on his wife MULTIPLE TIMES is a no-go for me. That kind of behavior shows he is not the right candidate.

I would rather we stand up for our strong morals and have him leave, then "let the voters decide" which is saying we are ok with his behavior as long as others agree.

But I have been on the losing end of a older white dude who was my boss and he pushed himself on me physically.

I totally love this thread and how it shows that really all we're asking is for a leaders to not be steaming piles of s***. But sometimes I guess that's just too much to ask for.

Anyone that says stuff like that needs to watch the 2nd episode of the new show on Hulu "The Testaments" where it shows a young teenage girl into at a dentist's office being inappropriately touched, and all she can do is freeze while inside she's panicking.

Freezing is a common survival response.

As soon as he admitted to cheating on his wife with his little statement about how he did bad things during the last couple years of his marriage I knew that was the end for him.

Honestly that's all I needed to hear. Pretty much confirmed what the women had said.

I personally view cheating as a horrid character flaw, especially of it happens more than once. And do not want a leader who is that selfish and uncaring toward their spouse.

That's all I need to know. I already believed the women, but do want to offer the benefit of a response from the accused and to wait a few days for more facts and info from those close to him to come out.
