i don't want to fall into the kind of talk that's like "social media is so scary dude oh my gosh" that reactionaries are spreading currently, i'm not of that ilk and i don't want to be, social media is harmful for me for very specific reasons
like idk, i might just make a dead alt at some point to just retweet and follow people i like and want to see more of, and leave this account just for posting about my work and.. yeah that's it

gotta learn to live for myself, create for myself and experience for myself instead of doing the whole "boy oh boy i sure hope my next chapter of god/end doesn't flop"

i think i'd like to expand on it maybe in a lil text of its own, i dunno, but there's something really cool about it to be stuck in this perspective of "i WILL die eventually." the dark queen doesn't know it, but you do. you know it's how it always ends.

i never played much souls-likes, my biggest experience with very very hard bosses is like, nightmare king grimm in hollow knight? or very difficult hunts in monster hunter? but there's still something i find really interesting about the frustration i felt when my attacks wouldn't hit the heroine
the dark queen of mortholme - this game had been in my wishlist for a while and my roommate got it for me on a whim, it's very very short (my first "run" took me like half an hour) but is also packed with a lot of themes and story bits i really enjoy, as well as a pretty cool perspective shift.

legally, everyone is allowed to get mad ONCE
so they're very early on and have no art yet, if any real definite design, but i still wanted to introduce them- we've got "Van", also known as "Wolf", former name Van Derlöst. Originally the prodigy of a rich noble family, he snapped under the pressure of it all and became a mercenary, first working for a larger company before deciding to start adventuring in his own name. That's when he met Shina, a kitsune mage and erudite in her free time, who decided to accompany him on whatever shenanigans he'd get into. At some point, Van meets a fae who he falls in love with, only to it to end up being a trick (or a very strange form of fae love) - regardless, he's changed into a wolf girl (anthro wolf, to be specific, but the term didn't feel appropriate here) and.. well, has to adjust! As for Shina, she's a kitsune faring from a land far away, past the seas. She's very old, most likely between 500 and 800 years old (though nobody dared ask her age yet) and wields various kinds of magic, all of it based on the consumption and production of mana, which would be something that can be found on any living thing (though made in the largest quantities by sentient beings like humans and others). She's pretty much a walking grimoire of spells, able to cast a lot of different spells, and started following Van out of interest for his very peculiar life story. It's only after he, now a wolf, became the way that he is that she decided to really care for him and accompany him into this strange lil journey he's in. once again, they're very early, so a lot is subject to change
was working on a lil story for fun, just something to get myself back into writing in french, aka my native language
and suddenly, three new characters! i'm tempted to release an english version of the story, once it's finished. i kinda like their vibes a whole lot frankly-
