Springsteen: Well, this past winter federal troops brought death and terror to the streets of Minneapolis. They picked the wrong city. Your strength and your commitment told us that this is still America. And this reactionary nightmare and these invasions of American cities will not stand.

really can't be said enough that this case was decided by the same court that decided plessy v. ferguson. if they could have found a plausible rationale to limit birthright citizenship they would have done it. but there is none! the text is as clear as constitutional language can be.
It only took them 2,026 years to find it
From custody deaths to suspicious cases, records reveal how one office’s failures denied accountability.
"Call it democracy, or call it democratic socialism, but there must be a better distribution of wealth within this country for all God's children." —MLK Jr.
To whoever did this at the #NoKings in Boston: Thank you.❤️
It made me tear up. And we must to be reminded of needless damage to humanity that results directly from the careless, bellicose bluster coming from the Pentagon and White House.
2 protest signs at the end of a stick. the top one with white background says BITCHES with the letters I.C.E. in red marker instead of black marker. the bottom one with black background says MALICE with the letters I.C.E. in red marker instead of black marker

Afroman found not liable.
A complete victory for the rapper and a massive unforced error from the cops and their attorney.

Outrageous.
Stripping Liam Conejo Ramos and his family of asylum is beyond cruel and indefensible.
This decision must be overturned. Shame.

A tax season reminder that Intuit TurboTax lobbied the government for years to block free public tax-filing.
Trump then terminated the free IRS Direct File program established under Biden, just a year after the tax prep giant gave his inauguration fund $1M.
Do you see how this works?
The President of the United States said I insulted Jesus.
You want to know what insults Jesus?
Kicking the sick off their healthcare.
Bombing schoolchildren in Iran.
Deporting moms and babies.
Covering up the Epstein files.
Imagine if instead of spending $1 billion a day on forever wars, we actually invested in one of America's oldest and most popular public services. www.npr.org/2026/03/17/nx-s1-5750419...
CROCKETT: Professor, are you saying you believe it's constitutional for the US to blow up people that are accused of being drug traffickers?
"It's not going to be a yes or no answer"
CROCKETT: I'm going to stop you there. It's unconstitutional.
it’s incredibly blackpilling to me that it takes rising gas prices and rising gas prices alone to have people turn against the war in iran, and not the american government murdering thousands of children and civilians in iran. americans are incredibly selfish
Imagine a sports bar where all the drinks come pre-roofied
About 70% of the U.S. economy runs on consumer spending.
But as wealth concentrates at the top, the richest 10% can’t spend enough to sustain it — while everyone else can’t afford to.
Reminder that trickle-down economics simply doesn’t make sense. It’s a hoax.

Crockett: "What if someone from another country said 'We're gonna bomb America bc we have a warrant for the president's arrest bc of the child sex trafficking in the Epstein files.' Every single one of you sticking up for him right now would be screaming. The analysis has to be the same."
People care about a lot of things but are only able to prioritize a very few. Once you internalize this, it becomes easier to organize.

Congress failed to pass the SAVE Act last year for good reason: it’s an anti-voter bill. But now lawmakers have revived it despite overwhelming public opposition. bit.ly/4qS8wBr
A reminder that incarcerated folks in Texas reported having to douse themselves with toilet water to cool off from sweltering heat – and the state still refuses to provide A/C.

U.S. map showing that in 25 states and D.C., federal agencies like ICE and the U.S. Marshals only detain people using local jails. In other states, jails play a part in the detention network alongside federal or private facilities. In Arizona, Delaware, and Hawaii no local jails provide substantial detention space to these agencies.
Thousands of people detained by ICE are actually held in local, publicly operated jails.
These facilities–run by elected sheriffs–are making money off of the federal government's deportation agenda.
