Ah this is very good thinking.
You agree or it's a bad take?
British politics is now a sort of presidential system since Thatcher and if a leader changes there should be an election.
Is this a bad take?
(Scout not soldier etc etc)
Yeah this is right. If any of us made an error this big in our jobs I don't think any dive into why it wasn't actually really our fault would get us anywhere.
That's incredible! Well done and congratulations!
I would AirBnB here! It looks EXACTLY it was designed by a teenager with an expansion pack on the very first version of the SIMs.
This can get worse.
Havind read @head-teach.bsky.social excellent latest post seems a good time to share this again.
On why we might be making terrible mistakes around how we're framing the new drive to inclusion.

Yeah, that's exactly it b
Seeing AI versions of Kurt Cobain is especially awful and creepy given how much it's obvious he would have hated it. This sort of dreadful ventriloquism should be completely socially unacceptable.
Sounds excellent planning!
My best example of this is Arcade Fire. Nothing Win Butler did was *illegal* but it was so out of step with what I thought the band stood for I couldn't overlook it and haven't really listened to them since.
It's interesting how many musicians went this way. Something to do with being rebellious? I didn't mind it with Richard Ashcroft. I was sort of "hooray mad Richard is back!"

Brilliant first line for some sci fi horror thing right there.
Not taking Watkins to WC would be silly now.
Three songs. If you don't love them after don't worry! On Spotify.
1. Eden.
2. Birthday Song.
3. Long Ride.
What three songs should I listen to?
Everyone has a comparatively obscure band they can't believe aren't more well known. Mine is Amanda Platt and the Honeycutters. What's yours?
I don't mean this as a criticism but Yard Act sound like.. Guy Garvey rapping?
This can get worse.

Brilliant!
"We won't be blackmailed now scans as "we will be blackmailed.""
I think if you get any result today you hang on. If you don't, you don't.
Which is what we did and it was fine in the end. I didn't mind. It needed to be done. The MAT should have just said "oh crikey Ben sorry you're going to have to muddle this one through. Of course we understand you won't get other stuff done. Shout if you need help.'"
I'm an adult! I get it!
Was so odd. Everyone just pretending so they didn't have to feel as bad about my life! In what bizarre alternative reality did you think I had time to sit down and work out a detailed intricate plan for not having an exam officer in June?!?
Happens all over. In one school I worked at exams officer taken seriously ill just before exams season. I had to take over. When asked MAT for support their response was "oh just implement your exams contingency plan that page 231 of the handbook says you should have."
Nobody had that! Ludicrous.
When absurd situations like this happen it's important to acknowledge the poor Head just isn't doing everything because it's impossible to. They then have the extra stress of being sort of "caught out" for not doing something they haven't time to do.
