Going with "no."

"Rural" in the US, when talking about politics, is simply a euphemism for "white supremacist."

"New Movies" I'll agree with. We can always watch "Real Genius" again.

My friend used to work at the Genius Bar at an Apple store. I loved his story of the day a high AF Val Kilmer came in, and when describing his problem, said "What would Val Kilmer do?"

That guy needs to stop sullying the name of one of the true greats.

Yeah well if "working class" means "racist redneck honky" then, well, I mean, not *that many* of them comparatively?

Weep! Weep big salty tears for me! God, they're delicious!

Do *not* get into search and rescue.

We should definitely not post these.

Oh, I want to hear their complaints. I enjoy schadenfreude. I want to hear them whine and stamp their feet and turn red and scream and kick their heels and wail.

You're so much classier than I am.

I would have phrased that, "FAFO" or perhaps simply "suck it."

I mean, it was *definitely* better than Windows 3.1 (and its compatibility and MS's perfidy is what killed it), and quite arguably better than NT < 3.5.

Only 12 floppy disks? Must be OS/2 2.1 or so, not one of the beefier ones.

(Disclaimer: yeah, I bought ArcaOS; it's charming.)

My one truly unusual talent is that I can recite "Jabberwocky" in under thirty seconds.

Well, hope I get to meet you someday (I work at Rubin, and not in management).

I enjoyed your commentary on preemptive capitulation by leadership towards the end of the book.

I also am always glad to find another Carroll enthusiast.

I remember that @rebeccaore.bsky.social liked to talk about Marlowe and political intrigue. That was fun.

Alas, you're not hitting Tucson on your book tour. Will you be at SLAC for the Rubin Community Workshop at the end of July?

Awww.

Is that either all that controversial or all that conspiratorial?

I'm getting more trypophobia from this cursed connector.

The funniest thing in the world would be for someone to leak the whole Epstein files to the Church, and then let them both release what they've got.

That would be much less satisfying to the AI techdouchebros than having humans build the datacenters like slaves building the pyramids, though. Our misery is what gets them off.

Blink would like you to know how pleased he is to be collecting ALL of the allergens (mostly mesquite, palo verde, and acacia pollen).

"Interactive fiction is one of the earliest forms of computer entertainment. The earliest game in this pack dates back to 1970. These were small trinkets that helped illustrate the story (and sometimes held clues necessary to complete the game)." (etc...)

Maybe not calling him McGruff the Crime *Fighting* Dog was intentional and we just didn't catch on.

It's not FAR off the half-your-age-plus-seven creepy thing.

Admittedly my parents' friend who's 102 flirts with me all the time, so maybe I'm not the best person to talk about this.

It's the much lower budget, and much less fun, Bang Bus.
