Note: This is the same legislation proposed two years ago, which passed the House but ultimately died in the Senate. Also worth noting the Pennsylvania legislature meets year-round (January through December), so even if the Senate takes up the bills, it may still be some time before a final vote.

Louisiana’s legislature has voted to outlaw attempts to gain children’s trust with the intent to sexually abuse them – an anti-grooming statute that was championed by a survivor of Catholic clergy molestation, his wife & her father, who’s a state lawmaker.
"Crimes against children are a priority for the workforce. Operation ‘Restoring Justice,’ where we locked up child predators and 764 subjects, in every part of the country, is just the beginning," he said. "We are going to take your freedom if you take away a child’s innocence."
