I think, like classic music, that Oldies refers to a specific period in time, rather than being an ever-expanding selection.
Old, though, I will give it that.

Harvest Market on Briarwood Circle will be Ann Arbor’s first new supermarket in over a decade. It’s also an all-day restaurant, a bar, and a two-level, indoor/outdoor third space for work, meetups, music, and events.
What blew my was the realization that the flu is a continuation of the Spanish flu. So we will see our military taken out by a ~110 year old virus.
It's just basic stock manipulation over and over again
Charging station for power tools in progress. Wood and white laminated particle board with clamps, and glue in the background. A garage door opening is visible in the background.
Completed charging station for power tools. Yellow and black DeWalt tools hanging, with batteries, chargers, and boxes holding bits are hanging on a wall cabinet, with a router table underneath. A blue cabinet is in the backround, covered in stickers.
Ratchet set holder in progress - wooden dowels painted yellow and orange placed into white particleboard with a red shelf and a thicker dowel supported by a weight while the glue dries, sitting flat on a table.
Completed ratchet set holder hanging on a french cleat wall. It's painted blue, and has two different ratchet sets on it. Behind it are screw cabinets and clamps.
It's been nice getting back into making french cleated tool holders for my lil workshop.
It's great to get more things off the benches while still being in sight. You'd be surprised how many times I've reached for a visible wrench instead of a more useful ratchet in a box.
Repurposed materials.
He doesn't care that they deny it - a few days is plenty of time to make millions and millions before it's denied.
Anything less than 1 vote for 1 person should be illegal in 2026. It is wild that we allow people to count for fractions of a vote just because of where they live.
I started switching to Linux this year. My last is my win 10 desktop, which I stream from but has been spontaneously rebooting and has fucked permissions. HD, RAM are totally sound by a dozen tests, it's MS.
I am being forced off MS by MS.
I don't recall any previous transformative technologies that had to be sold to the public so hard. No one in 1999 was going, "Guys. Cell phone? It's coming, whether we like it or not. I think it's important, FOR WOMEN ESPECIALLY, to learn about cell phone. So that we're not left behind!!"
Us too! We couldn't get enough for the entire fam so there may be some rock paper scissoring.
I don't see anything bad here. ... because I can't see anything.
“Why does everyone say Bluesky is vibe coded when it breaks”
If Bluesky engineers insist on crediting their successes to “AI” while praising vibe-coding, it’s only reasonable for the rest of us to blame their failures on “AI” and vibe-coding as well.
Oh yeah.
Thank you! I was a little worried about screws in particleboard or whatever you want to call it so I dipped them in wood glue to solidify the threads. I think it's very sturdy though!
Not bad for the price of free.
Long overdue IMHO: "the tax targets non-residents who own luxury properties in the city but don’t live there full-time. Think hedge fund managers, Russian oligarchs, and billionaires who treat Manhattan real estate like a high-end storage unit for their cash." www.themarysue.com/zohran-mamda...
Power tool rack and battery charging station built out of plywood and white laminated particle board. Tools hang below, batteries on a shelf, and chargers sit on top, with shelves on one side holding bit kits. A blue cabinet with magnets is in the background.

I'm proud of the charging station whose parts I scavenged from an old train table. It still has some toddler stickers on it, for the vibes. The top hinges on dowels for power strip access.
I've been thinking about doing this for years, and just made it happen in 2 days. #workshop #garage #diy
I really thought it would settle down for the 2nd episode, because I am an idiot. Delightful, once again.
I never thought I'd see the day that the digital monopolies would be bypassed entirely because other capitalist countries rightly see them as a threat.
This will give all of us more choice and more support for the open source community.
When I was in my 30s I had a 30 or over limit because I would say we all have some humbling and brain expansion to go through in our 20s.
Media taught me that men's taste in women doesn't age with them and I was genuinely relieved to realize that's not true for me - I am attracted to ppl my age.
I don't know regular but it is a frequent topic among my friends. I saw a recent article that said it was only possible to overcome the blatant manipulation by having over 75% of the people voting.
I did as best as I could with 10 up until this year, cutting out cortana and ads. But it just made it buggier. Now I'm on pop! Os and it's fine, everything works.
I laughed quite a lot at this episode. Vampire stories that don't take themselves seriously are pretty great.
Miniature black poodle puppy on an orange leash in the grass
This guy gets the dividends of a catless life
It's a busy weekend but I'm hoping to find time to figure out my PiHole's problems (IPv6, maybe?) and finally build a charging station for my workshop.
(Unrelatedly, my profile text could be identical to yours, if I weren't allergic to cats.)
It absolutely prevents me from watching something out of curiosity that I do not want my algorithm trained on.
boy do I miss when you could go on the internet and see, in chronological order, posts made by people you followed
"After all your posturing, all your little speeches, you're nothing but a common thief."
"I am an exceptional thief, Mrs. McClane. And since I'm moving up to kidnapping, you should be more polite."
