A 2023 report by UNESCAP criticized ASEAN’s slow SDG progress. This can lead to a precarious domino effect. The SDG review in March can disrupt this & avoid trapping ASEAN in a cycle of reactive DRRM that could further exacerbate vulnerabilities.
