I would bet a ton of money that ol R.H. here works for someone who has a stake in these sorts of projects.

It’s a thing I’d definitely be open to.
We gotta get these two together!
Also, Pensacola being PNS.
Nah, he really just needs to be very good at baseball. Which he is.
The Charlotte Knights being abbreviated "CLT" on MiLB never fails to bring out the giggling 13 YO in me.
There also seems to be something going on in the minors. Tons of walks down there too.
That's a hell of a charge of the ball by Hamilton at third. Seems to be a thing that Matt Erickson is really good at coaching up.
I am delighted to inform you that the Brewers are back on their bullshit.
The Athletic is currently cleaning up a mess of a negative non-story created by the Mets team owned TV network, just in case you were wondering how things were going in Queens right now.
He's doing movie impressions again. #Brewers
I’m choosing to credit Big Dan Vogelbach for passing on his “don’t swing until you see the whites of their eyes” wisdom
A screen shot of a skeet from Merriam-Webster that reads - ‘SWIMS’ upside down is still ‘SWIMS’. With a reply that reads - if you love geometric fonts where this would be true so much then why don't you use them in your body copy? no? not readable? go FUCK yourself; dictionary. they should call you hypocrictionary
I’m sorry, but bluesky is THRIVING…
God, she is good at this.
I think the secret has gotten out...
I’m not sure what you’re even arguing anymore.
Do you really think that a 12 game losing streak will or should cost David Stearns his job? Cause I think that’s both not going to happen and an insane thing to think outside of talk radio.
How ownership chooses to run a team is probably the most important thing ultimately over the long term, but the people who put together and run baseball teams do matter in how those teams perform.
Like, a lot.
No one is firing David Stearns because of 12 game losing streak in April. Or at any point this year and almost certainly next. Mendoza might be another matter, because Mets fans turned on him awhile ago and managers are generally a lot more expendable. But he seems to be Stearns guy?
The eternal baseball question!
Of course it’s not that it never matters, it’s that the meaning of what happens then is often misleading compared with the whole of what comes later. But you knew that.
I think the main thing going on here is that it’s April 22nd and most of their established offensive players are either hurt or performing well below their established norms so far.
Officer I have a different way of calculating blood alcohol percentage
they are calling it the perfect summary of the "keep men out of women's sports" movement
Could have?
I think he could have done a cha cha slide between third and home and been safe!
Barely missed the HR, richocheted away from the OF who had to run chasing it. Side by side with the Mitchell triple is the height of comedy. He wasn't even at second by the time Mitchell was at third.
Matt Damon playing a 14th century French knight that looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Mullet. Beard. Smells like horse shit, pine tar, and cigarette smoke.
Matt Damon while playing Odysseus who also looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Long, skinny beard. Smells like horseshit, pine tar, and perhaps Mediterranean herbs.
Matt Damon playing a 19th century cowboy that looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Mustache. Shaggy hair. Smells like horse shit, pine tar, and definitely chewing tobacco.
Every time Matt Damon takes on a period role he ends up looking like a third baseman for the Phillies.
Homer Glumplich
Petition to use Homer Glumplich as a meme whenever the Brewers put up a crooked number without hitting one over the fence #nohomersclub
Sold his soul to the devil and didn't get shit for it.
Yeah, none of this is ideal because they're missing so much firepower in the lineup. But this too shall pass.
Things can change quickly for young players. Happens all the time.
