Absolutely incredible.

NASA Astronaut Reid Wiseman, who commanded Artemis II, took this footage from the far side of the Moon with his iPhone.

Watch with sound on.

In environments where vulnerability is mocked or dismissed, people learn to conceal the feeling. They may become fluent in productivity while losing touch with their inner weather.

The more you try to catch joy, the more it runs away. It arrives on its own. When you stop running toward it and begin rooting yourself in the present moment, joy finds you. It rises quietly from the earth beneath your feet, settles into your breath, & becomes something you carry rather than chase.

A life held so fragile,
It breaks with a word.
What then was its worth,
With the "we" now interred?

Vows etched in cursive,
Now blurred by the rain,
Ten years of devotion
Released from the strain.

Yet life finds the cracks
Where the spirit can grow,
The worth was in learning
To finally let go.

This is Molly. She was finally found a week after her human fell down a 180-foot waterfall while hiking together in New Zealand. Her human was badly injured and rescued by helicopter, but Molly was missing. A week later, Molly was found at the base of the waterfall and reunited with her human. 14/10

Picture from project happiness.org. Author is Holly Holden.
Today I asked my body what she needed, which is a really big deal, considering my journey of not rolling, asking that much. I thought she might need more water, or protein, or greens, or yoga or supplements, or movement.
But as I stood in the shower, reflecting on her stretch marks, her roundness where I would like flatness, her softness where I would like firmness, all those conditioned wishes that form a bundle of never quite rightness. She whispered a very gently: could you just love me like this?
