It is worth remembering that the UK press is quite genuinely mad.
Genuinely seems like the Harry Potter lady is responsible for a lot of this hysterical nonsense.
@grok is this true
(Which is unsurprising since Netanyahu insisted on funding Hamas, but anyways…)
By the same token, Hamas is willing to let any number of Palestinians die, and Netanyahu is happy take them up on that offer.

Putting aside the palpable loss of identity, it also robs the US of a shit ton of money since the parks are profitable.
Also aspects of this were in Project 2025.

This is blood-boiling. Charles Rogers was awarded the Medal of Honor in Vietnam after being wounded three times leading the defense of a position.
Google his name and the entry below comes up. When you click, you'll see the page has been deleted and the URL changed to include "DEI medal."
That ebullient mood has been rudely shattered by Trump's first weeks in office. The bewildering volatility of the president's policymaking - as tariffs are threatened, withdrawn, ratcheted up and then dialled back again - is raising corporate uncertainty, dampening sentiment, and prompting recession warnings. "At Davos all the glib bankers were saying party time, here we go, deregulation, low taxes, M&A boom, IPO boom," says the chief executive of a global investor with $200bn in assets under management. "This has completely backfired in their faces." The predicted slowdown is remarkable in that it is largely a self-inflicted wound driven by the administration's own policies, economists say, rather than the consequence of external shocks such as energy price surges, war, pandemics or banking implosions.
This sort of quote is something else man. I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say other global elites see the American elite that were enthusiastic about Trump as total rubes.

The thing about scientific research is that it’s one of the few national investments that’s a clear public good even if you entirely discount the actual ostensible point of it.
The regulations they got rid of are the reason you have never had to worry about mercury poisoning, just to give one tiny example. The only ones who benefit from deregulation are corporations that want to poison you so they can make even more money.
Hey U.S. medical doctors, NP's, and nurses. Are you, by any chance, interested in relocating to British Columbia, Canada? BC is recruiting: 🇨🇦
The news media gave more coverage to the idea Tim Walz retiring from the National Guard after 20 years was scandalous than to Trump's promise to destroy the department of education
Did musk tweet something so egregious he had to delete the whole website
Good lord. Rubio is a disgrace.
My shakes? Alabama
The effects of the House’s proposed “Medicaid cuts to pay for tax cuts” in one graph: a 3.9% boost in income for the top 1% of households and a 7.4% reduction in income for the bottom fifth of households. In two words: class warfare. www.epi.org/blog/the-hou...
The DOGE kids really do need to face serious consequences on the other side of this
The Washington Post has a lot more details on what’s being considered for a U.S.-led strike against Iran.
UAB Hospital is in Jefferson County, probably the bluest in Alabama, which went for Kamala Harris 54-43.
I pointed out something similar a few weeks ago, but beyond just mocking the media for their stupid complicity here, these articles should be a direct refutation of the admin's claims that "The American People Voted For This."
Because they literally promised they weren't going to do this.
I mean they call him “Daddy” 🤢

Or you could read this memo—a bunch of memos, in fact!—on the Justice Department’s publicly-available website: www.justice.gov/ag/media/138...
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.
