Verdict: Ramyeon fries are *amazing*, both sauces are great but Hunter sauce wins out (purple Demon needed more kick), the Derpy McFlurry is great, and the packaging and collector cards are 👨‍🍳🤌🏻

WE ESCAPED THE GRID! Flynn's Arcade escape room is truly top-tier. Great tech, clever physical puzzles, lots of teamwork needed — and as a TRON supernerd, not to mention a Gen Xer who grew up a block from an arcade, it made me totally giddy with glee. Highly recommended.

To wit: there’s a truly shocking laugh involving a butterfly that was absolutely the biggest audience reaction I’ve heard since Captain America grabbed Mjölnir. The entire audience *gasped* then went absolutely bonkers with laughter. It’s a real gem of a movie.

HOPPERS is that super-funny brand of high-concept Pixar Weird™️ that in lesser hands would annoyingly go off the rails and just be weird for weird’s sake — but here it’s continuously smart, hilarious, and effective, and pulls you along for the (bumpy) ride no matter what.

Seriously — style, tone, and craft is up there with the likes of Spielberg, Jean-Pierre Juenet, Joe Dante & Wes Anderson. It’s soooooo good.

Don’t sleep on Bryan Fuller’s DUST BUNNY, a weird, wonderfully surreal horror/action fantasy.

Gorgeously designed & shot, hilarious performances from a note-perfect cast, and playfully nasty (and actually pretty kid-friendly, even if rated R).

Beautifully intentional, highly original filmmaking.

Actually their double coat supposedly protects them in the heat too — Ziggy looooves laying out in the sun when we go to the desert:)

Gorgeously shot, great performances. Maybe 15-20min too long, but still paced well and never boring.
