Earlier this year I faced that darkness again. It was heavy and overwhelming, but because of those same resources, support systems, and the community around me, I am still here. This is why I walk, why I lead, and why I ask for your support.

I struggled silently for years, and in January 2020, I reached a point where I saw no way forward. But I survived. I found support, resources, and the strength to keep going. That journey reminded me that no one should face the darkness alone, and it shaped my resolve to be part of something bigger.

As Suicide Prevention Week (September 8–14, 2025) unfolds, our team at AQ Life Crew has proudly taken part in the Out of the Darkness Walk to raise awareness and vital funds for suicide prevention. This cause hits close to home.
