A cooler day here in Sydney so it was time to get out and enjoy a few bush trails.

For 20 years, I've seen the biggest-ever public marches -- anti-Iraq War, anti-Global Warming, anti-Palestinian genocide and pro-Indigenous rights -- be dismissed as radical fringe concerns while far-right cranks are said to appeal to 'ordinary Australians'

It might be a bit warm for a ride in country NSW tomorrow! Those temps are the same as about 116 degrees F. And it’s been like it for a couple of days and will continue for a couple more! #advrider #motosky #crazyweather

Teknik suspension fitted and is working really well, the big hits on rocky climbs have been reduced, especially after reducing the HS rebound by a couple of clicks.

From now through the holidays, Missed Shifts is $10 in paperback, $5 off the regular price. A great gift for that riding friend who's going stir crazy because there are two feet of snow outside and their bike's on the charger. #motosky #motorcycle #booksky

I caught this one crossing the widest Main Street in NSW(Trundle) a couple of weeks ago . I think he was looking for termites in the dead shops across the street .

Upgrade app doesn’t like older tv’s.

SBS on demand has made its app so older tvs don’t handle the app, our 2017 lg oled tv isn’t compatible with the upgraded app. We can watch sbs on demand via our Apple TV.

Al’s DR clocked up 77000ks on our ride out to the Rabbit trap hotel today. Not a bad effort. #advrider

On a ride today out the back of Sydney into the Yango national park I saw 6 lyre birds and 2 brush turkeys, a bit of a record for me, normally only see about 2 lyre bird per ride out there. And a freshly marked bit of rock carving , being highlighted before some track upgrades for the RFS.

Australia needs to properly reckon with its white supremacist foundations from which it is yet to diverge.

For every Nazi loser waving a flag & punching an Aboriginal woman, there are a dozen "average" Aussies who are equally racist just a little less violent.

You can be a long way from everything in the Australian bush. Water is the first thing I think about carrying out here, tools and always extra fuel.

Interesting read. Having spent time working in vineyards can vouch that old canes can be an issue. Turning them into a strong plastic alternative certainly appeals.

Can #grapevines help slow the plastic waste problem?

There is so much ranting I can do (but it will be the same old song). So I will just ask. Is Alaska was chosen because orange shit gonna concede it to russia? Since russians openly say it should be theirs.

I have some very innovative farmer friends and they are often the first into new ag industries , they would be into hemp production in a flash if it was as profitable as there present water use crops. They have built the infrastructure needed for their present crops but hemp doesn’t-cut it yet.

It makes a lot more sense to grow rice and cotton than crops such as almonds, walnuts and grapes for wine. The tree crops use up to heaps more water / ha than rice and cotton and they need the water in a drought where rice and cotton are only grown when there is plentiful water.
