It's hard to explain anything comes from, You look at the ocean, where does all this water come from? It is impossible to say. You look at this photo, all warm light and soft tones and where do all the pearls come from, where do the hands come from. The photo is of a body facing the camera, knees to chest, cut off just under their breasts, dressed in a Ivory body suit, their waist and thighs wrapped in elastics and woven with so many pearls, pearls falling down their legs, swopping around their hips. Three hands appear from nowhere, it could be their own hands, but there are far too many, three hands brush their hip, left and twirl the strand of pearls, pull at their body suit, trying to take everything off....

A bouquet of flowers in too bright colours, pink lilies and fresh yellow tulips, tight spirals of yellow roses, the biggest pink lily in the centre, is being held open by two identical hands, clutched gently in identical fingers and pulling to expose the flower's centre. They are all too bright to be real, but they are, real flowers alive as anything can be when it's cut from the root and floating in water in a glass. Fresh cut flowers so real they smell alive and so vividly bright you'd think you could smell them if you looked long enough, so alive that the fingers tips peeling the lily open, holding its petals wide, revealing its grasping insides, are covered in a sticky dust of pollen, so alive it looks too alive.

Enjoying the hell out of both my new xteink X4 and my subsequent re-read of the Parker novels, by Donald Westlake ( writing as Richard Stark ), some of the best and favourite noir crime fiction.
The first thing to understand is the photo is rotated 90° - so the bed and the body in it appear to be climbing up the wall. It's a black and white image, low contrast measured down so the black are deep and rich and all the Grey's rush to meet them. The walls are slated strangely and would be anyway even if you knew which way was up. The body in the bed in feminine, dressed in a black body suit cut has on the hips, their body is nicely formed and their mouth is slightly open - you can not see the rest of their face.

My leather jacket hanging in a place of honor on the wall by my mirror, hanging over a silk robe, reflected in the mirror. Photo is taken through a few branches propped up next to the mirror some of which are painted white. Some of this photo is a tangle of reflections, but the focus is the jacket. A black leather moto jacket by Movable Feast - I had the first iteration for 20 years and it went to 20 cities with me, and it fell apart from love and time and a lot of wear. This iteration was purchased second hand hunted from the ends of the earth by my wife 🖤 just because they love me.

in a dense wall of white silk and lace, wedding dresses heaped like wallpaper, something troubles the centre. A folded body wrapped in too many layers of lingerie, pink and white and cream lace all layered and tangled so it's almost impossible to see the body - where it ends and where the lace wall begins. The only part of them that is starkly visible are their legs, black latex wrapped to the thigh, knees bent and small feet lifted...
