We strongly condemn airstrikes allegedly carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces on March 31 in South Darfur, near the Teaching Hospital and within a densely populated civilian area.
Following at least two strikes, the MSF-supported hospital received 5 wounded patients and the body of one person.

Our staff and patients in the DTU are safe and were not injured in the attack.

Explosions in Nigeria: On Monday, March 16, 2026, three suicide attacks were reported in Maiduguri, Borno State, killing 23 people and injuring more than 100.
