Again, Nintendo doesn't usually drop BIG games in August. Tends to be something on the smaller side, like DragxDrive was last year.
Maybe they'll slot a Switch 2 Edition of something into that month. Nintendo Switch Sports, maybe? Hard to say.

Well, that's Splatoon Raiders locked into the release schedule now at least. Though with it and Rhythm Heaven covering July, it's starting to feel like Fortune's Weave has slipped into September.
Nintendo typically doesn't do big game releases in August, and FEH couldn't run a banner then either.

Not in practice! I actually go over it in the video.
Think of it this way. If it were added for real, Light and Fairy would be more distinct than Rock and Ground are.
- NEW VIDEO APPROACHING -
A new Pokémon generation means a lot of speculation over what might happen. Could that include adding new types for the first time since Gen 6? What themes could we see, and how could they work?
Interested? Check it out, live on Youtube now!
In case you didn't see from my community post on Youtube proper, some eleventh hour issues came up and forced me to postpone the video for another day. Check in tomorrow evening for it!
Need something to do tonight? My next video is available now for Early Access-tier channel supporters! It'll be live for everyone tomorrow evening.
Pokémon's made some waves (and winds) lately, so who's up for some Gen 10-adjacent speculation?
Final Standings
1st: 2B
2nd: Pauline
3rd: Oatchi
T-4th: Hornet, Sylux
The results are in! And look who finally pulled through on her 8th poll, two years after her first appearance on one!
Look forward to seeing how this battle android from the far future could adapt her vast arsenal of moves to Smash in the coming months.
One day left! Don't forget!
Or Wario Land 🤔
At the very least, it seems like they're trying to use it as a launch pad to bring Star Fox back into the spotlight. Feels a lot like how the first movie gave Donkey Kong a big role, and lo and behold, they had plans to give DK a lot more TLC, including a new game. Are Fox and the crew next?
This includes voice acting, by the way. Can we do without the intentionally cheesy stuff? Give us genuinely good acting with genuinely witty writing.
Hell, I wouldn't mind something close to the tone of Kid Icarus Uprising. Just slightly more serious and without the fourth wall jokes.
What I hope they'd do is take what made the gameplay work back then, iterate on it (not just peripheral gimmicks like what SFZ did), and figure out how it can work in the modern era.
That goes for the story and characters, too. You can do more than just re-package 64, guys. Let the setting grow.
You know, I've been thinking. If a new Star Fox game really did happen, I seriously hope it doesn't try so hard to capture the exact same magic Star Fox 64 did back in the day.
Wanting to honor the series' roots is one thing. Retreading the same game over and over, though? That's a mistake.
I'm surprised at how little support Hornet's had! Guess my regular voters just weren't that into Silksong.
ICYMI: The new Challenger Approaching episode included a poll for the next one! Anyone supporting the channel--through Patreon or Youtube Memberships--have 4 more days to vote on who goes next.
Current standings:
1st: 2B
2nd: Pauline
3rd: Oatchi
4th: Sylux
5th: Hornet
...Most of my followers must've just wondered what the hell half of that meant. Well, you'll at least understand this:
New Mario baseball spinoff when? Seriously, how has it been almost 18 years?
Ah, Opening Day. We may have passed the equinox almost a week ago, but it only truly feels like spring once baseball gets going again.
Even if your team is in a rebuild. With a RoY frontrunner and more high ranking prospects rising through the minor leagues, so at least there's that.

You definitely have the look there of a man who just lost to a 30% accurate instakill move.
- WARNING - CHALLENGER APPROACHING -
A legacy Pokémon with a lot of fans, which hasn't amounted to much in Smash so far. Could the next game change that? How would the devs even design the moveset?
Check out how Eevee could work as a Smash Bros. newcomer, live on Youtube now!
The next episode of Challenger Approaching just became available for Early Access-level channel supporters! If you're among them, enjoy the sneak preview of how Eevee could work as a Smash newcomer!
The video will be live for everyone tomorrow evening.
Two posts from Thorgi's Arcade detailing a rumor that YouTube punishes videos with too many links in the video description with his testing this theory against his new Under Night video and finding it to seemingly be true
I do so love to exist in a system that punishes me for doing the right thing (citing all my sources)
Hopefully the sarcasm didn't go over anyone's head...
An unassuming little creature with near-limitless potential. But how could that come out in Smash Bros.? Eevee's episode of Challenger Approaching is set to come out next week, so you won't have long to wait to find out!
But what COULD be going on here?
On this day in 2016, 10 years ago, the Wii U version of Pokkén Tournament was released worldwide.
