Also PR videos done now don't tell the full story of what will happen after they win. Hopefully they turn into pragmatists though, and we don't see a repeat of ejat happened in Libya in 2011, or even Iran in 1979. Ideal situation now would be for Assad to resign and make a deal.

Assad's days seem numbered, but given the nature of the rebels, what will happen to all the minorities and the secular culture that had prevailed there? I hope Syria will become a democracy while retaining secularism, otherwise it will become another Libya.
