AHGHH THANK UU i was so worried jumping back into realism but ITS TURNING OUT GOOD

Touching digital art has been pissing me of lately (not really but i don’t feel motivated and just feel stuck) so I’ve been drawing w oil pastels, sculpting (im making clay figures >:) I’ll have a wip soon maybe), and now picking up realism again

i haven’t done this shite in a year and this took 6 hours and im not close to being done ooguhhh but it’s so fun . I stg the cure to art block is doing literally anything else that isn’t your usual stuff

Anyways she’s on my wall now and i couldn’t find what i usually use to hang stuff up so i used cut up command strips. And hung her up crooked and can’t pull her off without her ripping but that’s ok it’s just in character for me. I’m filling out my wall more soon :3

I thibk having a way to destress and not care is just very refreshing cause even tho that’s my main goal with a lot of my art, i normally end up overworking until i can’t get to a satisfying enough point to progress.. or i forget about it since all of my stuff is personal projects

Now that it’s been a few days and looking at it again im actually pretty proud.. i luv my silly style and it’s fun when im habing bad art block (always). It also only took maybe an hour and a half and in (mostly) one sitting

day 4 I think? Not the biggest fan of how this one came out but I didn’t finish it. Teio……

U gotta just do sm trad warmups tbhh or just doodling, it feels great. ALSO SAME ABT THE GRIP it feel s insane having to basically make strokes that u literally can’t even see until an hr into working on it 😭
