Yeah, totally agree with the Chelshit comparison. I think the difference is the fan base. City fans feel so vapid and fair weather, they disappear when results occasionally don’t go their way. I hate them for what they represent and what they are other financial doped team have done to the game

Yeah I get that, I guess I was more hurt by those players choosing to leave than City for buying them
Yeah, Cherki doing keepy ups in the Carabao Cup final did it for me
I’ve always felt pretty apathetic about City. Their team built on financial doping, their plastic fan base, it’s all just felt cheap and unearned. I haven’t felt the same level for distain for them as our other rivals, but I’ll be honest, I’m getting closer
Wish we hadn’t taken him off, he looked our most likely to score
Arsenal beaten, despite a vastly improved performance.
That 90 minutes suggested to me that this is going to continue to be gripping right until the very end.
If I survive it.
Decent first half. Think we need to change something on the right, Mosqura getting run by Doku too easily and he’s on a yellow now. Get me Ben White
Armageddon is terrible, but our only other option was diversity trainings at work.
Raya outstanding again all game
The lose sucks and the performance is part of a worrying trend but I just can’t get on board with the fatalistic response for much of the fan base. If we end the season empty handed again I’ll make my judgements then. Biggest things still to play for
You can’t win the treble until you lose one of the 4 trophies
115
I feel like we always manage to have key players missing when we play them
So just the treble then?
I will do anything, use any VPN, crawl through any shady pirate site, to not have to watch Alexi Lalas call the World Cup.

Lovely
Substitutes
Mosquera - 6
Solid overall. I was hoping we were gonna see Ben White. Thought we could have used his attacking instincts
Gyokeres - 7
Did well to get himself just enough space for the tap in
Dowman - 9
Electric from the second he came on. Completely changed the game
Center Backs + GK
Saliba - 8
Absolutely everywhere at the back and consistently positive in possession pushing us forward
Big Gabby - 6
No major mistakes but just seemed to coast through. I didn’t notice him out there most of the game.
Raya -7
A few good saves and solid with his distribution
Full Backs
Calafiori - 7
That one legged save from his stomach was insane! Played like he wants his starting place back
Timber - NA
Subbed early, hopefully it’s minor. He’s looked like he’s been on the verge of injury for a few games
Midfield
Eze - 7
Not everything came off but was getting on the ball and getting shots off
Rice - 6
Didn’t provide enough going forward but good defensively as usual
Zubimendi - 5
Really fallen off from how he was playing at the start of the season. Nothing terrible today but rightly subbed
PLAYER RATINGS
Forwards:
Madueke - 6
Doesn’t look as incisive off the left as he does on the right
Havertz - 6
Some good bits of interplay and touches but couldn’t get any real clear cut chances
Saka - 7
Still not playing at his sparkling best but lively all day and created some good chances
Overall I thought we played well, just couldn’t quite get the final ball right until our 16 year old wonder kid saved us. I think had we left with a draw it certainly would have felt harsh but when the margins are close it can always go either way
Absolutely mental ending, Max Dowman… I have no words
3 points all that matters during the run in. City dropping points always a nice bonus
*Cole
Might get glossed over since we won, but the fact that the ref stopped the game 3 times when there were the clearest cut opportunities to play advantage to us was mental
If Chelsea had been able to play Come Palmer tonight we might have been in trouble
