I'm in the fares and taxes are fine camp. I already get a significant discount as a reduced fare rider ($1 fare for most of the Seattle region). So there's not much need for a free fare when its going to be like $36 for a monthly pass or $432 a year. That's a pretty sweet deal to me as a rider.
