I've cut back significantly on Amazon purchases the past 1-2 years, but daughter needed a specific top for a Quincenera dance she's in.
Spent 10 minutes in AI hell on Amazon, trying to get a refund or replacement for an empty package, but the AI bot kept insisting I needed to "return the item." Which didn't arrive. Took another 10 minutes on a chat with a human to get it resolved.
I think that's a sound strategy (I'd do the same)!
