Compose Unstyled just got CMP 1.8.0 ready and you can now use in on your 🍎 iOS apps

I also took this chance to make a mini Component Catalogue app so that you can play with all components right from your phone

Alright ladies and gents. Time to update your libs.

Compose Unstyled 1.20.0 adds a new `confirmDetentChange()` callback to the bottom sheets, so that you can block them from being dismissed.

This works similar to the Material Compose's confirmValueChange() callback.

Added [πŸ¦Έβ€β™‚οΈ Author Profiles] on ComposeLibraries.com today

This way you can find all libraries published by members of the community in one central place.

Added 🌁 images & 🍿 videos to composelibraries.com today.

Library authors are doing an insane work with their demos and images on their READMEs.

Would be a shame not to show them nicely on the site.

PS: Some are ridiculously polished wtf

I'd love to support it, but I don't think we have enough libraries in the wild that do that rn.

Might play with the idea when other more important things are done first.

Added dedicated pages for each library on composelibraries.com today

The goal is to make it simpler to get info about each library, such as code samples and previews for each one.

mobile layouts works according to screen size. not sure what desktop version does but if it doesnt increase the size of the screen enough, the images won't show.

might add them on mobile again, but i see them as nice to have than a must have

Currently at 96 Compose libraries at composelibraries.com

Made it super simple to submit your library (you just need a URL)

Images are also back to make each one stand out

You folks seem to like ComposeLibraries.com so far.

Heard your feedback and now you can choose which platforms to be included in the search (doing a AND instead of OR)

Also, descriptions are back

100% agree with you. Trying my best with what Notion gives for websites.

But I think we hit a deadend rather quickly and people love the site so far, so it's time to go custom

Currently all libraries are cherry picked πŸ‘Œ

However, there is an option to submit your own via the site.

Feel free to submit your own libraries if you are an author, or add libraries you have used and want the world to know about.

I needed a place where I can find libraries for my Compose Multiplatform projects.

Couldn't find such a place so I decided to create one.

On the site you can filter libraries per platform, category, number of github stars and their kind of licenses.

Heya Bluesky πŸ‘‹ This is my first post

I'm Alex Styl. 3 years ago I quit my job at Apple to figure out how to make a living on my own.

Since there I've shipped many projects, mostly around the Android Dev space.

Today I'm launching a new one: Compose Libraries!

it was one of those "how hard can it be right?" moments

1 year ago 3 0 1 0

that was the easy part (kudos for that)

the difficult part was making the scrollbars work nicely with Android's/iOS overscroll effect.
