Just watched the Mario Galaxy movie for the first time and wow just wow it’s honestly so good, like as a Nintendo fan that movie is great so many cool things to see but I can also see where critics are coming from with the pacing criticism. Overall it’s good and I think that’s all it needed to be.

Now for an overall review of the games themselves. Sonic Sega Allstars Racing Transformed it’s a brilliant racing game that holds up well compared to its competitors and it was well received and regarded and I can see why now having played it. Overall a great time no matter the version you play.

With the 3DS lagging at times and barely being able to run and even crashing on me once something neither other version has done. Speaking of which the PC version is great it’s basically a better version of the Vita version with more characters and what feels slightly easier to control. 4/4

Next is the 3DS version. From what I read this version actually is an entirely different game engine and a lot of changes were made like completely different missions in the mission mode overall it’s. Slightly inferior version but only slightly I liked it but it absolutely pushed the 3DS to hard 3/4

Ok with that out of the way let’s start with the first one I played the Vita version The vita version was surprisingly very similar to the pc version it almost felt like a more pure version with no dlc or anything. It was fun but I felt more even then 3ds that the screen limited control a bit 2/4

Sonic series play throughout update time this time 3 games except it’s 3 different versions of the same game specifically Sonic Sega Allstars Racing Transformed. I felt it was best that I play multiple different versions of the game and I decided on the 3 most different Vita, 3ds and PC. 1/4

The original music from Sonic 3 and Knuckles actually was really good and for the most part I think actually fit better then the replacement tracks, which were put into the origins version but overall I don’t think it makes to much of a difference. In the end I like both versions lol. OG and origins

Another Sonic series play through update I decided to play through the DS classic Sonic collection as an excuse to play the classic games again, plus it allows me to hear the original songs that were changed in Sonic origins version and overall it was actually pretty decent as a collection. 1/2

In general it’s very similar with as far as I can tell a nearly identical roster of characters to play as and mostly the same tracks as the console counterpart except adjusted to fit the DS with some
Tracks being changed more than others. The big change is the mission mode and I like it way better.

Ok so Sonic series play-through update I played Sonic Sega all-stars racing again but this time the DS version since like sega superstars tennis and it’s DS version it’s a completely different game from its console counterpart. I beat it in a single day and overall I like it slightly more. 1/2

It truly feels like the developers took all the feedback to heart from shattered Crystal and basically made a perfected version of the same game style based on the feedback now do I think the gameplay style fits sonic well ehh…maybe not but either way it’s a massively improved from the previous game

Continuing my Sonic series playthrough I decided to finish the final Sonic Boom game Sonic Boom Fire and Ice and surprisingly it’s a huge improvement I mean like compared to shattered Crystal it’s way improved like it’s just a genuinely ok to goodish game in comparison to the other Boom games. 1/2

Speaking of that play-through of the Sonic series I decided to replay some actual good sonic games. specifically Sonic one
And two but the 3d versions on 3ds since in my mind they count
as separate versions lol. Much more
Fun then either Sonic Boom game.

So about skipping Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric I didn't lol I played it it was ok albeit kind of boring the game ran terribly so like I don't know what to think lol I mean overall I generally didn't feel like either game fit sonic and both were just very poor or mid platformer's.

Still haven’t caught the shiny Celebi in crystal yet I’m starting to think shiny Pokémon are not real lol and are a made up conspiracy lol

So yeah I decided to triple the amount of games I need to play because I’m an idiot who wants to beat every game on every single 3ds I own lol.

So while playing Pokémon crystal on my 2ds XL I was watching YouTube videos and I came across one which made me think more then 1 3ds can transfer Pokémon to the same Pokémon home account and that made me want to replay the games on each of my 3 3ds consoles lol. 1/2

However I made a discovery shiny hunting is a decent secondary use of your time like if your trying to binge watch a series or something although you need to check to make sure you don't knock it out accidentally. Was way more fun when I was also binging early Dragon Ball for the first time lol 2/2

Ok some real talk i was getting fed up with how long the shiny hunt was taking so I decided to dedicate most of the day to it and I'm realizing very quickly soft resetting is really not fun to do for long periods of time at once like it feels like I'm grinding away time lol for no gain lol. 1/2

Another update on that shiny hunt I still haven't got it I'm starting to get paranoid that I somehow killed it, at least once or twice I accidentally KO'ed a Celebi or two while not fully paying attention so i never knew the color LOL but we keep grinding surely it will show up eventually right??

Every time the formerly bird app makes a Stupid decision, I keep coming back here more often and each time this place grows livelier as more people make the switch fully which is great. I hope it’s soon successful enough I never have to set foot in the other place again lol.

You’re right, I just want to be happy with it myself, before I actually post stuff. I want to be able to feel satisfied with the end result. I’m not quite there yet I hope to be soon though. I will say I am much closer than I expected to be since I only started drawing properly a year ago.

Yeah I know it’s just such a weird feeling to now see the issues in your own drawing but not yet have the skill required to know how to properly fix it.

Just to also update on this another month gone has passed and still no shiny I'm not giving up though LOL I'm in to deep now LMAO.

Like its like 2 lines of a graph one is my drawing skill slowly increasing and the other is my ability to spot errors and my ability to spot things that look off has gotten better way faster then my drawing skill has improved lol if that makes any sense so it ends up feeling worse LOL.

Drawing is hard LOL I love doing and I can see I am slowly getting better but man at the same time it also means I'm able to see things I am doing wrong or just now intrinsically know are off and because my skill hasn't caught up to fix those things I'm now seeing it kind of feels worse lol. 1/2

Update on Pokémon Crystal still no
Shiny I have been shiny hunting on and off again for like 2 months I don’t know how people do this for hours on end shiny hunting drives me mad lol but I’m in to deep to this hunt to stop now lol it’s red Celebi or bust lol.

I completed the DS version of Sega Superstars Tennis and I will be real that version is impressive its like as close to 1 to 1 with the console version in core features but all on the DS which is really cool since there wasn't a Mario Tennis for the DS if I remember and so the DS having that is cool
