Oh there’s something - and someone who gets awfully close to olde Adolf, but said person never looks in the mirror. I mean, who could look into a mirror, see those horrendous suits, boring ties, pancake makeup, and visible Depends diaper lines and decide he was ready to greet the world?

It is insane, and it’s also insane that they thought telling average Americans - many of whom aren’t getting adequate healthcare - that if you’re a Trump crony you can get the best medical coverage available.

Worth noting too that the GOP spent more than $60K against Boudman’s $12k (just over), and still lost.

We need moderate/progressive Evangelicals to condemn militant Evangelicals/p2025 militants pushing us towards their twisted notions of Armageddon, and we need them calling out the hypocrisy of right-wing evangelicalism.

It’s akin to the old Vulcan proverb, “Only Nixon could go to China.”

U.S. Troops Were Told Iran War Is for “Armageddon,” Return of Jesus Advocacy group reports commanders giving similar messages at more than 30 installations in every branch of the military

@radiofreetom.bsky.social Hi, Tom! I appreciate that your days are likely filled with similar “asks” to this, but if you’ve the time and inclination, I would appreciate reading any thoughts you have about this story. If true this story is very unsettling.

Pseudoscience all the way down, and, like all good members of Congress, he’ll threaten fisticuffs when anyone points it (or any other reality or fact) out.

It’s becoming quite evident that Pirro’s incompetence must have played a factor in her failure to prosecute Robert Durst.

Also Kubrick’s version of Lolita. She was great in that.

Wouldn’t this - and all the air travel for pleasure - be worthy of a hearing? I know there’s much more important enquiries to hold, but maybe we need a few into things like this - getting the word out about these excesses that taxpayers are underwriting or possibly paying for, might resonate.

I’m hopeful about to Talarico’s political calling 🤞

He’s phenomenal at communicating why these things are important, why we should all be concerned, and he does so in a way that’s easily understood by the masses, yet without dumbing down his messaging, or being condescending.

I’ve been saying a version of this 👆 to my friends: that I can accept that con artists have taken power by conning a number of Americans. What I can’t understand is how they’ve been fooled by such bad con artists.

Your post brought me the most shocking realization. This year, I will be as old as Sean Connery was in The Untouchables.

If only that poster had access to a device where they could look up an actor’s CV and easily see which films they’ve done.

I long ago, gave up on the future giving me a jet pack, but goddamnit surely by now we should have some kind of database, on the internet, where info on movies is accessible.

Connery’s top button was undone for all of this scene in the initial cut of the film, but audiences found that even at 56, that single button overwhelmed audiences with Connery’s raw, magnetic machismo, and distracted in the scene so much, the studio ordered a “buttoned up” reshoot.

Have you tried using The Way Back Machine?

I generally find success using it to find older articles no longer available online, it might work to find past records like you’re looking for.

Legendary Canadian actress Catherine O'Hara dead at 71 | CBC

Damn. This hits pretty hard. SCTV was a huge part of my late teenage years and probably why I became an actor.

O’Hara was an amazing, thoughtful actor, who often - like many of her SCTV cohorts - could play unlikeable characters, that still created empathy or even endearment for. Not an easy feat.

Why DEA? That makes no sense. Can someone illuminate why he’s wearing DEA gear?

This confirms my suspicion that “pretty soon” is the new “in about two weeks.”

Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Minneapolis (Official Audio)
Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Minneapolis (Official Audio) YouTube video by Bruce Springsteen

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I just rewatched the video, and 🤞🙏 it appears she bolted away when the shots are fired. The fact too that many ICE agents bolted when shots started gives hope she managed to get away. And the angle we do have may prove useful too, as it’s clear even some of the ICE agents are recoiling in shock.

I’m super happy and excited by Mamdani’s win, but seeing those tallies again, my takeaway (and revulsion) is seeing that Cuomo did as well as he did.

Tom’s “bizarre scrum” holds water if it considers what the voting would have looked like without scandals plaguing Adams and Cuomo.

Is it me, or is he slowly becoming the Alec Baldwin’s version of him?

(Apart from the fact Baldwin was far more energized than…well - than Trump ever was or could be)

God he even manages to add his trademark ickiness a bullshit plan - “consumated!?!” 🤢

Fellow Canadian here. Not a big fan of Newsom, but in the actual full clip of this, Newsom isn’t criticizing Carney, or Canada or even Norway or Denmark.

He’s clearly talking about leaders like Starmer - EU politicians acquiescing to Trump and following appeasement rather than defiance.

Mark Carney gave the best speech at Davos by far. He understands the situation with clarity while others prevaricate, appease, and send late-night “Dear Donald” texts or call him “daddy.”

Men who defend Jonathan Ross for murdering Renee Good are not safe to be around. End those relationships.

Curious if you watched it in a theatre or at home? Amongst my friends it certainly seems that’s the dividing line - those that watched it in a theatre engaged with the film, those that watched at home didn’t connect with it. Anecdotal, but it does seem to be the case.

We’re in trouble if people who (physically) appear to be adults, dismiss opinions because they come from someone who doesn’t like the same TV they do.

I blame Warner Bros for acquiescing to fanboys by releasing the “Snyder Cut.” It reinforced the belief that their every whim must be catered to.😂😉

FIND a reason? No one needs to find a reason, the guys first year has given us plenty of reasons. Every time this orange asshole opens his yap, he’s either confessing/bragging about his crimes or projecting his crimes onto others.

But you’ll also have cis voice actors like me that will be only too happy to have your back when you need it. Happy to know you’re in this part of the biz! Enjoy your success and naysaying morons be damned!
