Also can someone explain me why some people would prefer that IDW "is its own continuity"? Tbf, what would IDW ruin of so important in the games' continuity? All they need to fix is the writing of some game characters but the comics arcs have some potential to be used in the games.

SEGA be doing all the promotion for Tangle and Whisper to appear in games like Sonic Dash, Forces SB, and Crossworlds, and people are still in denial, they lack common sense to even do research

like i said just now, if IDW weren't canon, both characters wouldn't even be in these games at all

Sonic fans are truly deniers of what's happening in the franchise. I don't like most of IDW too, but if this opens up new horizons for the franchise, so let it be. I don't want to be stuck in a loop of nostalgia. SEGA can't get away with re-telling Shadow's story over and over to be deep.
