I think the term originated with that because you’re not allowed to just straight up dress as characters at Disney, but it’s a useful term outside of that!

Btw can someone come up with a less branded term for disneybounding. Closet cosplay isn’t really right because you’re not necessarily trying to look like the character, just making an outfit based on the character.
