Der Skandal ist, dass sich der Oppositionsführer angemaßt hat den Wahltermin gegen die Einschätzungen der Bundeswahlleiterin festlegen zu wollen so dass 1) das Fenster für die Briefwahl verkürzt wurde und 2) keine Zeit bleibt auf Probleme rechtzeitig zu reagieren.

Not my point. Fear of the incompetent administration of the Volksgemeinschaft may have driven (privileged) people to assert their belonging, thereby eroding opposition. I’m not suggesting Trump’s America is about to turn into Nazi Germany. But incompetence was pretty pernicious in that case.

Der Versuch, #Hitler am 20. Juli 1944 zu töten, ist aller Ehren wert. Er erinnert aber auch, dass (später) Widerstand gegen Hitler und Mitwirkung am #Holocaust und #Vernichtungskrieg 'im Osten' Hand in Hand gehen konnten. Man sollte beidem gedenken!
