I genuinely think it's important, politically, to read good news items. Believing that the better world is possible, and seeing evidence to shore up that belief, can be important for resisting despair. Medical breakthroughs and stories of liberation and justice are both a part of that, for me

Like, GREAT problem to have, and I'm largely grateful for it but I need to remember that while I'm not shy and I love my people, I need unobserved & uncommitted downtime to feel okay. I owe many things to many people and also to me, and even thinking about any of them makes me want to scream/flee
I've spent the last several months filling up my spare time with Activities and Plans and Friends. (Inherently valuable and it forces me to stop working at my ostensible day job.) But my apartment is a disaster and I'm away from home for most of Oct 20-Nov 5 for work followed by fun & I'm STRESSED
I haven't logged into bksy in a week and this was here waiting to slap me.
