“I have yet to go a single day without thinking about gun violence since the shooting.” - Jonah, a Brown University Students Demand Action leader
Our schools should be places of learning, not where our classmates go to die.

BREAKING: A federal judge blocked the Trump administration from seizing Rhode Island’s voter data as part of their effort to undermine our elections.
We're fighting to protect voters’ privacy across the country — and winning.
Tomorrow!
All the phase 2 paths in this map got axed
Wise move! As a voter in the district, I can tell you it’s not a good look.
While this is a public filing, it is disrespectful and dangerous to post a female politician’s address and phone number online. I hope you will delete this.
Not to mention the sunk cost of a bike path to nowhere — families are not going to use the already built bike path if it dead ends in a treacherous traffic circle.
I really hope our next Governor will be willing to invest in bike and pedestrian infrastructure.
🚨The Rhode Island Voting Rights Act will go before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, 4/7, and Rhode Islanders need to speak up to protect voting rights!

I am proud to serve on the board of @commoncauseri.bsky.social.
Common Cause RI was a driving force behind legislation that made voting more accessible through early voting and mail ballots.
Now, we must protect our existing rights by passing the RI Voting Rights Act.

“when Hasbro decided to leave. “Our workers want to live in a place where they can get around via public transit,” and as a state, we were offering them new facilities or tax breaks. Hasbro was like, “Please give us functioning transit.”

‘John’ saw something, and said
something. Providence owes him so much.
Please share. 💗
Thank you for your important work and all the best for your next chapter!
What a difference a day makes! Totally cleared now.
River Drive is probably not considered a main road but people that use it to get on the Red Bridge think it is! So many disabled cars, including a tractor trailer blocking Angell. Could the city put up signs to direct traffic away from streets that are impassable? One neighbor made a handmade sign:
Good morning, Providence!
Shovel-ready.
Such fun to celebrate!!

”Last year, a majority of members in both chambers of the RI Legislature co-sponsored a strong assault weapons ban…
In the end a watered-down, nearly unrecognizable version of the bill was quickly passed and signed into law before many even realized what had happened.”
