I've never really known much about chart positions for stuff. That's the stats end of music trivia, isn't it? I'm not a stats guy.

Oh. Meh. There's worse, I suppose, but it's still a whimper rather than a bang.
I was demoted to percussion before I learned how to read music fluently, and didn't do hardly any theory. I still feel dumb about theory. I regret that a little bit, but I'm also a little bit proud of my being able to get by without it, in a Luddite kind of way. A reverse snobbery thing at best.
No, I meant that song titles thing.
The EGBDF and FACE ones were, as you say, drilled in.
No, that's way too advanced for me.
I did retain those!
See other reply.
It's practice with the music thing. Years of seeing them.
I just looked up ROYGBIV and the "Richard of York" mnemonic did ring a bell. I think I remember my mum saying it.
Now I can do many song and album ones, because that's my area of specialty. That's my main exception.
I didn't even know there was a rainbow thing.
I know loads of shit about bands. Even bands I don't like. To be fair to Dire Straits, I've always adored Sultans of Swing. And there's a solo album by Mark Knopfler that I genuinely like. Oh and The Local Hero theme was nice. I don't hate 'em.
I wonder if it's partly because I never did text speak.
Kidding aside, it was genuinely my first thought. I so can't do most abbreviations etc.
Yeah, I'd have no idea about this.
...or fixing old audio issues so that music can be restored.
I'm not sure Human Resources will be available at this sort of time.
On Every Street?
Yup.
Bob is typically poorly served by YouTube.
Few things worse as a pet parent.
In 1999 the entire album was remixed for a CD reissue. The original had a notoriously murky mix. Really terrible. The remix was beautifully clear, although not without its detractors. I prefer it by miles.
Oof. Sounds harrowing. I hope you have better success tomorrow.
Exactly like this.
The whole of Bob Dylan's Street-Legal album.
No.
I guess it has to be good for something.

Undoubtedly.
By 1969/70, I'm not so sure. He came and went as he pleased. Sometimes he put a shift in, and sometimes he left it to other folks.
This is a lovely cover of an old Bob Dylan song...

No, man. The original is flat and dull. The remix has pep and drive.
