Malcolm in the Middle was such a good show until like, the last 2 seasons where it just kind of screwed over all its characters in a way that felt bad even for a show as pessimistic and mean spirited as Malcolm in the Middle

One of my favorite things abt the Heated Rivalry book is it understands that consensual sex w/ the gender you aren’t actually attracted to isn’t like- repulsive necessarily. I think most straight ppl don’t understand this bc they don’t have occasion to do it the way gay ppl do
