figured out drops. i want them to go straight into your inventory when you break something, but i also wanted a satisfying drop animation. so i decided to have both!

Normal Gem Explosion Metagross is so funny in the Z-A Battle Club.

The Normal Gem appears to regenerate every time your Pokémon is knocked out, so this can be done over and over (though I think that the Life Orb has the same damage buff).

Taking place in the Cobalt Coastlands, water is in the foreground and land is in the background. One Octillery, on the left, stands partially underwater, preparing an attack. The other Octillery, to the right of the center, is completely submerged and obscured by the water, demonstrating that it isn't supposed to be there.

I realized that Remoraid doesn't appear in Massive Mass Outbreaks because Octillery isn't programmed to go underwater (and it'd be weird to include Octillery and not Remoraid). I don't know why the others were excluded, though I suppose the developers may have wanted Eevee and Cherubi to be rare.

In Snowpoint Temple, a Graveler stands on the left and a Glalie stands in the center. On the right is a passageway.

It's so funny that Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a total of one post-game area that has standard Pokémon encounters and it's the basement of Snowpoint Temple with encounters such as Graveler and Bronzor.

Shiny Whiscash floats over an extremely small pool of water in the Crimson Mirelands.

Barboach and Whiscash are some of the only non-legendary Pokémon not available in Massive Mass Outbreaks but available in Mass Outbreaks (alongside Eevee, Remoraid, Octillery, Combee, and Cherubi).

This outbreak really paid off! Don't worry, he has enough room to swim.

I watched "Spirited Away" for the first time today.

I loved it, though, one thing completely took me out of it (it wasn't the movie).

When the track "Reprise" played, it was familiar for some reason.

I then realized that it is one of the default sounds on my alarm clock that I've used for years.

Even if it's just this one, its neat that there is seemingly an acknowledgement that groups of people refered to the same Pokémon with different names at some point in the Pokémon world (even if it's only for a regional form that can be justified as different from other members of the same species).

An Alolan Vulpix sits in the Alabaster Icelands of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, in the background is the Pearl Settlement with several tents and trees visible.

Replaying Pokémon Legends: Arceus, I just found out that Vulpix (specifically Alolan Vulpix) has a second name—Keokeo (the older Alolan name for Vulpix).

Is there any other Pokémon that has more than one English name?

I'm looking forward to how Pokémon Legends: Z-A gives attention to less appreciated Pokémon. Chikorita and Tepig as starters, Patrat, and the elemental monkeys appear to be good signs for this, along with all the potential that Mega Evolution brings for less appreciated Pokémon (like Victreebel).

A Shiny Chingling from Pokémon Legends: Arceus floats over the water of Lake Acuity during the nighttime. It is also snowing.

I get the impression that Chingling is one of the least thought about Pokémon. I'm glad that it was given some attention through its inclusion in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

After playing a few hours of III, I just wanted to move forward, and I felt similarly with V (though I do think I will enjoy V once I wait for the right time to play it). I don't think that they are bad, I'll probably come around to them, I just thought they were too similar to spend hours on.

I'm not sure if I would recommend the other early FF games (I do recommend IV). What happened was I got FFX, and after playing for a few hours, I wanted to start these games from the beginning. I am glad that I did that. Seeing the series evolve from entry to entry is enjoyable to me.

I finished Final Fantasy VI today.
It made me cry, its characters, music, story, world, and gameplay were all so good.
Of FFI, FFII, and FFIV, it is my favorite. I think it is the most developed in every regard compared to them (though they're also great games).
I recommend it.

There is a new detailed image of an asteroid: 52246 Donaldjohanson! There's very few detailed images of "contact binary" asteroids clearly made up of two parts, Arrokoth and Dinkinesh's moon Selam (also imaged from Lucy) are the only others that I'm aware of.

Never found a cliff this smooth in Minecraft before (the cliff is cut off by a chunk border, too).

I'm really enjoying Super Mario RPG. My favorite part so far is the combat; I'm liking the timing mechanics.

(When I first went in, I didn't expect Mario to jump in this game. I was very quickly disproven.)
