My recent comm from @cataoshi.bsky.social reminded me that I never shared my first request of them.
This story beat of Reliq returning home from Tural was the start of their relationship.
Cataoshi did such an amazing job with it. 🥰

A "stroy beat" commission I requested of Cataoshi a couple months back. The scene depicts Reliq's return home to his family. Reliq is driving a small chocobo carriage led by his own Chocobo, Kwehtzal. Nananji is seated inside the carriage behind Reliq, along with a collection of bags and crates. Reliq's expression is visibly anxious as he can now see his family waiting to greet them in front of the family home. Nananji's expression is far more excited, having been the one to make this homecoming a reality. In the distance, we can see a small home with 5 figures waiting for Reliq's arrival. Most visible are Reliq's mother, Resusu, and eldest half-sister, Chiriri. On the porch of the house stand Reliq's step-father, Onri, and his two youngest half-siblings, Pahsusu and Potari. The home sits nestled on plains dotted with sparse greenery and more houses that make up the small farming town they live in in the distance.

Namely, I wanted to share a commission I got back from @cataoshi.bsky.social.
They did such a wonderful job bringing one of the earliest story beats from Reliq's Homecoming to life.
The colors! The scenery! Reliq and Nananji's expressions! It's all so good!!!
