I thought Monarch S1 was the worst Godzilla thing since 2003, Minus One really underwhelmed me, GxK was fun but not something to really hype me (and in any case was more of a Kong movie than Godzilla.)

I’ve said this before but while I’m always going to be a Godzilla fan my fandom flame has dimmed since 2021, in part because it was burning so much from 2014 to then, and also because no Godzilla things that have come out since then have really excited me

I mean that’s in large part because I’ve seen all of it in gif form by now but I’d say that’s a big sign I didn’t instantly watch it when it got posted

I haven’t even watched the Minus Zero trailer yet

Yeah I think it’s healthy to acknowledge you feel a writer messed up but it’s weird to me how many fans seem to actively hate creators of the things they love
