The mistake being made about Meta is to say they're just doing this to make conservatives happy. They've been doing that a decade+. A chart showing greenhouse gas emissions since 1990. Canada is the only country shown whose emissions are higher. Other countries including the USA, Japan, and European Union members have all made notable progress.

The rest of our peers are making progress to cut emissions while Canada is uniquely behind. We need to dispense with this idea emissions reductions are too difficult to do fast & the idea international climate diplomacy is pointless. It's working elsewhere.
