Christine Jeske (prof at Wheaton) sent me a prerelease copy of her book before the holidays. Since today is the actual release day, it seemed like a good day to get started with my afternoon coffee.

After reading one chapter, I can say, “This is going to be a good one!”

"A good system of government should be workable both if Christians are in the majority and if Christians are in the minority, so that Christians are free to practice their faith in either scenario."

It’s been years since I’ve been to #PCAGA - it was great to see so many old friends.

As I reflect on the time, I was really encouraged by the MNA lunch and so thankful for the leadership of Irwyn Ince.

Yes, there are serious problems in the PCA but God is at work!

I picked this up again after several years and have been reading a couple of chapters each morning

I find myself surprised by scripture again and again as Wright’s translation catches my attention

It’s been a good change from my normal ESV/NIV/CSB rotation

I read Psalm 121 this morning which reminded me of Uncle Ken

He was an Indian man in London whom I visited many times in the hospital before his passing. He always wanted me to read Ps 121 to him

Thank you Uncle Ken for reminding me again that our help comes from the Lord (vs2)
