I had an uncle who went to jail, and just couldn't handle it. Just went crazy, screaming, spitting, smearing his faeces all over the walls...so we don't invite him to play Monopoly with us any more.

So, basically, I got an iPad a few weeks ago just so that I could at least have a go at turning the music in my head into music that exists outside my head. So far it seems to be working. Even if it's complete crap (I honestly don't think it is) it's MY complete crap.

Well, that's completely fucked. And it's a huge part of why American democracy is on life support. These things need to be taken very seriously but they're just not.

If it just says "independent" then there's no problem. "Free and independent" is likely to be challenged because we all want to be free, don't we? So it can be argued that that wording unduly influences the voter.
