Well, if he (not a doctor, but a recovering addict) can proclaim without benefit of a clinical examination that Trump is sane, I (also not a doctor, but a recovering drunk) can proclaim that Trump IS insane. One diagnosis is no more valid than the other.

I get it. I’ll be the first to admit that MAGA folks are basically gone, raptured away to another reality. But I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to some latent optimism that people can evolve and grow. Misplaced, perhaps, but hope is all I have left.
