I can now run a little script to check these links are still around, and this page on my site is what I see when I open Safari.
Made for me, but maybe of interest to #FansOfDan as I add things I find on the Internet.
Better living/linking everybody. \m/

For years I’ve been collecting bookmarks (in Safari) that have gradually died of link rot.
So with a little help from AI, I made a new list of sites that are still online, organized into various categories...

2025 featured a fractured foot, redundancy, new work, DaaS (Graphics), ASCII, vibe coding, side projects, mono fonts, and photography. Thanks for all the support, messages, likes, and LOLs.
Have a great break. See you in 2026. \m/
Someone made a bar at the local beach.

Dandan & Ada.
The Adventures of Dandan & Ada.
Things have been a bit quiet around here. ICYMI, I broke my foot, and have had a lot of time to think. I’m finally back walking, and have lots of exciting adventures coming soon...
Until then, here’s an AI Hergé inspired illustration via ChatGPT.
Latest Footnote (3)
– Starting to walk again. Yay.
– No moon boot around the house.
– Finally able to wear both shoes.
– One week of physio done.
– Foot is sore from the movement.
– Taking it one step at a time.
Latest Footnote (2)
– Foot is starting to feel better.
– Getting used to moon boot life.
– Can put weight on foot without pain.
– Needing the crutches less.
– A few more weeks then physio.
– Ada is pleased I can follow her around.
Cricket is a fascinating watch. Latham went 0, 0, 0, 118* in his last four innings. Was an excellent century after three ducks!
Yeah, it can be very tricky! Steve from Profile Photos did a great job. He’s doing another couple of shoots in March if you are interested.
Ada got some portrait photos taken by a friend. Absolutely love them. If you’re in Wellington and want your pooch papped let me know.
Latest Footnote (1)
– Foot is still broken.
– Cast removed and now in a moon boot.
– No surgery needed. Phew.
– Getting used to crutches.
– Starting to put weight on the foot.
– Ada is pleased I can still use right foot.
My yearly watch of the game that makes soccer look exciting.
Ha. Why a terminal?
I’ve been on my mono obsession for some time so I get the appeal, just wondering if there’s a different direction coming.
A few folks I know are, but the digital nomad idea is more so you can work from here for any company, not just opportunities here.
If you’re looking for something more permanent at an NZ company I can point you towards some places. Drop me an email. 🥝
Thanks Tom. Sorry about your friend. I’m not personally impacted by this government with work, but know too many that are unfortunately. It’s been a rough time for them. :(
Come work in New Zealand! 🥝
It’s lovely, but I’m biased, and very lucky to call NZ home. Interesting to see the international news of this vs some of the sentiment here. Record redundancies in government and one of the worst performing economies… we’re going to need more than a few digital nomads to turn things around. Ha!
