Agree. Woodland expansion needs to understand when seed production may fail.
So basic and fundamental. I did get frustrated by colleagues who struggled to see this as forestry. The discipline needs to encompass all tree growing.
Potential merging of environmental regulators ... lets hope a lot of lessons have been learnt from NRW.
