This is excellent by Boyle. What CBO and others have pointed out is that millions of eligible claimants will lose vital health care coverage because of administrative burdens. By design! That is the purpose of the bill. It does not target fraud. It just weaponizes burdens against the public.

Forest Service Will Close Research Stations That Study Wildfire Risk

Trump is trying to get rid of research on climate change, get rid of FEMA, trying to get rid of the part of the Forest Service that studies wildfire risk. There is a form of magical thinking that the country's problems will go away if he just stops responding to them.

Tracking the Early Vote in Virginia’s Redistricting Referendum

There is a lot we don't know about what voters are thinking and doing in Virginia's redistricting election so far, but this offers sound analysis of the data we do have. www.nytimes.com/2026/03/27/u...

U.S. brought back $100 million of gold from Venezuela, Interior Secretary Burgum says The Interior secretary said Venezuela's interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, wants foreign investment in the country's mining sector.

We invaded Venezuela, kidnapped their leader and installed a puppet, and are now pillaging the country's resources just like the fascists in the 1930s did, and somehow this has already been normalized and isn't being treated as the crime it is

The airport perks for Congress may be drying up, not a minute too soon Delta Airlines suspends its special congressional service, while a Senate bill could end the line-skipping perk for members of Congress.

BREAKING: Delta is suspending its special service desk for members of Congress until TSA is fully funded, per @ajc.com.

Delta says members of Congress will now be treated like all other flying customers.

More on Trump Weakness No, Congress doesn't do whatever he wants.

"What Trump has managed to do [by] sending ICE to hang out at airports with no apparent responsibilities is make it clear that it’s his shutdown that has produced chaos."

Nothing to worry about, just crazy people handling an erratic authoritarian president a blueprint for an unconstitutional power grab to try to take over the American election system

This @vpm.org headline/subhead = A+

“Data center tax break takes center stage in Virginia budget plans / The Senate proposal funds a tax rebate by ending a $1.6B sales tax exemption.”

My budget amendment if enacted by the General Assembly and signed by the Governor would put money in your pocket.

What happens in state government is hugely consequential- please call your Virginia representatives and tell them they are not going far enough to address data center growth. Meanwhile we can do our best to fight off each data center one by one at the local level. 3/3

They are simply unwilling to do basically anything to address the environmental impacts associated with water usage, air pollution, land usage, and greenhouse gas emissions that will certainly continue as we strain our energy grid 2/

A direction on data centers emerges in General Assembly A compromise on data centers is coming: an effort to rein in any impact on Virginians’ power bills without stopping or slowing data center development.

Our VA legislators appear only willing to address data center affordability issues as it relates to energy prices. While I too care about energy prices, I also care about our environment and it appears the GA only sees dollar signs when it comes to data center growth. 1/

Putting solar panels on land used for biofuels would produce enough electricity for all cars and trucks to go electric The world dedicates a Poland-sized area of land to liquid biofuels. Is there a more efficient way to generate energy?

Biofuels are absurdly inefficient compared to electric vehicles.
