If you haven't seen it yet, Kentum is coming on November 6th! Go check out the new demo on Steam. gamerant.com/steam-games-...
South by midnight is awesome and deserves more love on PC for sure. Not surprised though given the marketing for it was not exactly prominent.
It’s funny how graphics and perception in games changes over time. I have the fondest memory of the original baldurs gate dark alliance and remember thinking the water physics were the most realistic water id ever seen back in the day.
I don’t comment on politics much but I studied Nazi Germany in school. That was a nazi salute. He knows what he did, you know it too and to try claim otherwise tells everyone more than enough about you.
Dynasty warriors is back baby!
Go Team VPR!
I don’t think any game should be eligible for a GOTY award that isn’t on multiple platforms. Single platform exclusives have a narrowed audience and brand affection could cause bias. Plus it would help incentive the biggest titles to be multi platform on release.
After playing POE2 I don’t think I can go back to POE1 in terms of gameplay. I love the direction of 2, it is vastly superior to 1 and D4. It’s slightly slower in pace but way more engaging moment to moment. I cannot wait for the full game and for seasons to start.
The team at Vicarious PR has been smashing it with the Luma Island launch this week. 26k CCU's today on Steam and more to come! Love a good cozy game.
Was nice to see Mirthwood at the top sellers when waking up this morning and still on new and trending. Hard at work fixing bugs and improving performance and then onto the next major content patch!
Once got asked what the bad side of video game marketing is. if you’re successful it is solely attributed to the game. If you fail you are first to be blamed. Marketing is rough and you really have to love it to stick it out. Don’t get into it for recognition. Get into it because you love it.
With the Next Fest clearly having an algorithm change for June, we adapted and ran a kick-ass content creator campaign for KILL KNIGHT that saw it go from 24th to the first page in 24 hours. Nice to see such a great game get the attention it deserves.
Steam Next Fest is upon us! It’s great to see three of our games on the front page with Tactical Breach Wizards, Enotria and Mirthwood! The devs are kicking ass. Kill Knight also made top demos list and End Zone 2 hit top wishlists list! Go team Vicarious!
Almost 20 years later I have finally got one of my most cherished collections back together. Sealed and original. Let’s go Kessen! @koeitecmogames.bsky.social Get hyped. Stay hyped.
In honor of the steam farming fest this week here’s an update on the real life garden I’m making.
You just love to see it. Loving Pacific Drive.
Just watched the X-Men 97 trailer. It brought up feelings and huge childhood nostalgia. No, you are crying! Can't wait to watch. Onions everywhere.
Without it, many beloved indie hits over the years would have been either gatekept from retail by the select few publishers or wouldn't have been able to afford the investment required to self-publish.
often see folks in the industry post about how digital distribution is a bad thing, citing ownership and the few companies that do bad practices. Sure, there are downsides, like anything. However, the revolution of digital distribution is what made the indie game scene what it is today.
Listened to an indie dev today tell me in detail his new appreciation for what we do as PR and marketing folk. He said that he once viewed it as ‘you just send emails that’s easy’ and now realizes how difficult, time consuming and skilled you have to be to be good at it.
Question: What kind of game do you want?
Answer: Yes.

Out here killing it with the Soulmask demo release. In the top of new and trending and most popular right before the Next Fest. Thanks to all who have covered the game! A 40-hour demo is a beast.
If you know how to code Java script and know shit about APIs, websites, and coding/database stuff and are looking for some freelance work for a month or so, hit me up.
Just no let up at the moment with layoffs since last year. Crappy times, the number of layoffs industry-wide in the past few months is truly staggering and saddening.
Been playing with AI. Which is best?
Midnight. The daily battle in my brain of too tired to continue working vs lay down and be suddenly wide awake.
