PM Carney on the Americans calling the alcohol ban an irritant.

"You know what's an irritant? 50% tariffs on steel. 50% tariffs on aluminum. 25% tariffs on automobiles. All the tariffs on forest products. Those are more than irritants, those are violations of our trade deal"

My guess is that it's bad. FOI laws have been the only way the Ontario population has discovered all of the government's actions. Now? Well, he cannot claim to be the "most transparent" premier. Not that he ever was.

We don't hate Elon Musk enough.

His plan for 1M satellites creates more than just a communications monopoly - it's an environmental hazard. Between atmospheric damage and orbital debris, we also risk permanently blinding our telescopes and ending the era of modern astronomy.

By the way, we Canadians do uphold our end of the USMCA when it comes to dairy. That said, we will not reduce our health requirements to allow sub-standard dairy products into our marketplace... As an aside, our supply management system is what has kept eggs both available and affordable. Do better.
