yeah like ive used blender just for like SUPPPPPERR basic things and setting up cameras when i do BG work but thats about it. and then i did that one famous donut tutorial and learned absolutely nothing. theres sooo many better ones out there

ok maybe i worded that kinda scary BUT you can just open blender, switch to grease pencil and just draw straight up in it like any drawing program just to mess with it

the tough part is learning bit by bit cause there isnt a single video to be like "A to Z" in one go cause theres a lot of little things to learn its kinda like if you erased art in your brain and started from ground 0 to kind of get how it works. @stucat.bsky.social

but like i know the feeling of going like wtf do all these buttons and terms mean?? but like i started looking at it like layers and effects in a drawing program and it kinda started to switch the way i looked at it

if im being fr spite motivates me cause i always want to try and level up and i hate letting my peanut brain blocking me from learning things. its frustrating so i know the feeling. but theres just so many good tutorials to making 2D art in it now that im having an easier time learning

like i havent felt this inspired to make art since before i entered industry-college hell. is this what it feels like to enjoy art again???

like ive already used other 3D programs for basic shapes to block out environments but im just straight up painting the whole thing in here and its going to save me so much time maybe ill finally finish all my rotting psds that i needed bgs for
